Assiette Champenoise
Jean – Pierre and Colette Lallement opened their restaurant in 1975 in a village called Chalons Sur Vesle a few kilometers from Reims. At this time, the Assiette Champenoise was only a gourmet restaurant and did not have a hotel.
In 1986, they decided to expand and moved to Tinqueux, just near Reims. The bourgeois house they move into is completely transformed and becomes a hotel-restaurant.
At the end of 2010, major construction work was undertaken and new suites were created. Entirely decorated with a contemporary style, some have a Zen living room with a balneotherapy bathtub, large terrace or balcony, dressing room and walk-in shower room.
All renovations were undertaken by our interior designer Grégory Guillemain from Reims. All these efforts were rewarded with a 5th star for the hotel in 2013.
Our hotel is now in line with our restaurant.
In 2014, the Chef received his 3rd Michelin star and was elected Chef of the Year by Gault & Millau.
Today, the hotel has 33 rooms and suites spread over 4 floors. It is equipped with an indoor heated swimming pool and private parking.
