Ulusaba Private Game Reserve
Ulusaba, Sir Richard Branson’s Private Game Reserve, is set in the heart of the Sabi Sand reserve. Ulusaba has 21 rooms and suites spread over two lodges. Rock Lodge is perched high on the summit of a koppie offering panoramic views of the Drakensberg Mountain range and the South African bush from the 10 rooms and suites. Nearly 500 meters away is Safari Lodge which is situated along the banks of a dry riverbed, in the heart of the wildlife. Safari Lodge offers 11 rooms and suites including several exquisite tree house style rooms. For the ultimate experience, guests can share their time between both lodges.
Rates include all food and drinks including fine wines, champagne and sprits, twice daily game drives, walking safaris, laundry, taxes and use of all facilities with the exception of spa treatments. The team of chefs at Ulusaba have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by many African cultures, flavors and spices. Whether dining under the African sky, in the outdoor dining Boma, on a deck or in the dining room, the menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational.
Pride 'n Purpose is Ulusaba's charitable arm committed to helping disadvantaged communities living adjacent to the Sabi Sand Reserve. Pride 'n Purpose's main focus is on sustainable development initiatives and improving access to food, water and health services. If guests are interested in volunteering with Pride ‘n Purpose during their stay the team will create bespoke itineraries between the morning and afternoon game drives to participate in hands-on projects within the local communities and based around their own skills and interests.
