Trisara
Trisara, a small, luxurious resort which derives its name from the Sanskrit language words "third garden in heaven" opened in November 2004. Trisara is located over a private bay just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport on the Island’s quiet, undeveloped northwestern coastline. The short drive from Phuket Airport is a beautiful introduction to the “real Phuket” winding through small villages, jungle and relatively undeveloped beaches before arriving at the resorts discreet entrance, hidden by towering ancient hardwoods. The gently sloping contours of the site have been developed to allow all hotel and residential villas to embrace the oceanfront and sea breezes that flow throughout the property. The property is well secured as there is one protected, guarded road entrance.
Trisara has been planned by the owners, management and designers to be a place where the stunning beauty of the site is combined with key elements of generous spaces, absolute privacy and elegant design. Trisara's 48 pool villas and suites all face the Andaman Sea, many with absolute frontage. They all feature private pools with striking views and capture the tropical sea breezes. All pool villas and pool suites feature private infinity edge pool finished with grey marble tiles, spacious teak pool decks, both shaded and for sunbathing, Plasma TV connected to DVD and stereo system, broadband high-speed Internet connection, ceiling fan, cross ventilation and quiet air-conditioning, outdoor open-to-the-moonlight shower in a private courtyard, electronic safe, mini-bar, dual line IDD phones and message service. The bed is the centerpiece of each villa, and we believe are the most comfortable oversized King beds you have ever slept in. The beds peer out over the glassy horizon pool where the water seemingly pours straight into the Andaman Sea.
The focal point of Trisara is a sprawling 1,000 square-meter teak deck lofted above our private bay. A rocky isle sits several hundred meters offshore. Coconut palms tower above and open-air Moroccan-style daybeds, Javanese wicker chairs, and simple marble tables for dining.
On both sides of the deck, glass-and-teak structures with Thai-style sloping roofs house our restaurant and bar. Naturally lit by day, they are detailed with arrangements of orchids and jasmine and flicker with candles by night. Thai food, from aromatic Southern curries to Bangkok-style noodle dishes, is available all day. Our chefs combine a Thai love of big flavors with a contemporary respect for market-fresh ingredients. Bespoke menus are available on request and an array of Australian inspired western dishes, seafood, contemporary Asian food, and little-known Thai specialties are prepared with panache.
