The Cove Atlantis
The all suite luxury hotel Cove Atlantis, on beautiful Paradise Island, seamlessly blends the sophistication and style of a cosmopolitan hotspot found in New York or London with the saphire waters, pristine sands, and cool tropical breezes of, well, its namesake, the ancient mythical island of Atlantis.
Guests are ushered into the Cove Atlantis resort by large, open-air walkways. The lobby, designed by renowned architects Jeffrey Beers and David Rockwell, mixes the outdoor tranquility of fresh water pools teeming with marine life with open seating areas highlighted by exquisite furnishings where guests can relax before leaving or checking in.
The property is housed in a 22-story tower. An adults-only pool with 22 private cabanas and a separate family pool makes The Cove ideal for honeymooners and those looking for a romantic escape from the predominantly kid-friendly atmosphere at the main Atlantis resort. The tower also houses a nightclub called Pure. The Bahamas largest casino can also be found here. The Cove Atlantis boasts a nightlife scene that many entire cities would envy.
The Cove's Dolphin Cay is the world's largest and most advanced inland dolphin facility. These painstakingly designed 11-acres of saltwater lagoons are home to sixteen dolphins that survived Hurricane Katrina, and they feel right at home in the seven million gallons of salt water that perfectly emulate their natural habitat. Guests at The Cove have the unforgettable opportunity to swim, play, and interact with these magnificent creatures.
In addition to several cafes and restaurants, The Cove Atlantis features Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill, with a menu that pays homage to simple southwestern cuisine. Reservations to all fine dining restaurants are required. The best time to visit for a quiet, romantic meal is during the week.
The Cove Atlantis spa called Mandara is a two story 30,000 square feet area surrounded by lushly landscaped water gardens filled with exotic fish and giant lillies.
Only suites are available in The Cove. Guests choose between the ocean suite, the deluxe ocean, azura, sapphire, presidential and penthouse suites. Granite vanities, marble floors, plush bedding all set The Cove apart from other suites on island. A 4,000-sq-ft penthouse suite comes with modern furnishing, vaulted ceilings and 180-degree views of Paradise Island Beach.
