The Charles Hotel, A Rocco Forte Hotel is Located in the center of the city in Lenbach Garten, and adjacent to the tranquil Botanischer Garten (Old Botanical Gardens). The area is close to everything and the neighborhood is not touristy but an upscale residential one.  As usual hotelier Rocco Forte has created an architectural stunner that blends perfectly into the very green area giving it a feeling of modern romanticism.  The hotel captures the essence of a garden oasis.  Upon entering the lobby the ambiance is one of subtle quietness in a décor of white and wood.  There are abstract paintings on the walls, designer furniture and a sleek onyx sculpture to admire. An art gallery is part of what the hotel is about. An assortment of local legend Franz von Lenbach portraits are scattered throughout the property.

Davvero Restaurant and Bar has a relaxed recipe for fine Italian cuisine served in a comfortable, light-filled room that includes sofas for seating and an outdoor terrace for alfresco enjoyment. The library inspired lounge is called “The Bar” and of course is serves Munich’s finest beer in a mug.

Rocco Forte Charles Hotel spa is one you will not want to leave quickly as it is beautifully done in a combination of Greek architecture with an Asian style at the same time. From the abstract coral art reflected in the pool's mirror like surface to corner Buddha’s—the area ebbs and flows with Zen-inspired tranquility. With massages, facials, mud-baths, swimming, steam room, sauna, a relaxation area and fitness center—all senses are vulnerable to splendid seduction.  It is the best the city has.  

Accommodation at Rocco Forte Charles Hotel has a focus on the natural. With all rooms having floor-to-ceiling windows opening to balconies providing either garden or park views—guests wake up to the sound of songbirds and the gentle swoosh of leaves blowing in the wind.
