Schlosshotel Kronberg
Hideaway with history: Built in 1898, the Schlosshotel Kronberg and original castle of Empress Victoria Friedrich, is a truly royal residence and destination on its own. Privately owned by the House of Hesse, this hotel invites guests to experience first-class hospitality and European history at first hand since 1954.
Only 15 minutes by car from Frankfurt am Main, this gem is idyllically situated in the climatic health resort of Kronberg, known for its cultural and recreational value. Surrounded by a spacious 58 hectare castle park, a rose garden and 18-hole golf course, the Schlosshotel Kronberg combines relaxation with a cultural retreat.
All spacious 61 rooms and suites were individually furnished in collaboration with the British star designer Nina Campbell, to create an elegant combination of valuable antiques and classical design. The former living rooms of the Empress are still available as guest rooms and suites on the first floor.
All former salons are used for discrete business meetings and exclusive, private events with space for up to 350 persons. In summer, guests enjoy the generous sun terrace overlooking the extensive park area. In winter, our famous English Afternoon Tea in the original library of the Empress or traditional swiss raclet in a cozy chalet are worth a visit of the Taunus mountains.
