The ultra-luxury hotel is in a prime downtown position that allows guests to witness the thrilling panorama of a city on the move from an urban eyrie. In all aspects, Rosewood Beijing is designed to epitomise and introduce Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® concept to Asia. Passing between the towering “Sons of Dragon” statues guarding the entrance and arriving at a foliage-filled courtyard, is designed to evoke a sensation of entering a private mansion haven in the city, albeit one from which the views are dominated by the iconic, CCTV tower opposite, a shiny-silver architectural statement piece that embodies the nation’s grand ambitions.
The Rosewood Beijing concept is to firmly embrace the thrilling contemporary vibe of modern, go-getting China while at the same time maintaining a symbiotic relationship with its rich and storied culture. Guests may partake of a journey of carefully curated experiences within the hotel including art hand-picked to present Beijing’s most exciting up-and-coming artists, more landscaped outdoor space than any other Beijing luxury hotel, décor and surprising comforts one would normally find in a luxurious private home, dining and entertainment designed with innovation, sophistication and interactivity in mind and, at an average 50 square metres (538 square feet), some of the largest guestrooms in the city.
The 283-room ultra-luxury Rosewood Beijing, opening mid-October in the Chaoyang District opposite the iconic CCTV Tower, will be the first China property for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. The hotel will feature six restaurants and lounges including Bistrot B and Bistrot
Lounge/Bar, RED BOWL stylish hot pot restaurant, MEI bar, Country Kitchen and The House of Dynasties Chinese restaurants. Meeting and function space, totaling 3,350 square metres, will include a pillar-less ballroom and The Pavilion residential-style event venue.
The first Rosewood Sense® spa in Asia will feature an indoor swimming pool, gym and yoga studio. Also debuting will be the Manor Club, Rosewood’s sophisticated, exclusive access executive lounge.
