Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa is designed to be the most authentic resort in French Polynesia. Superbly located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, the resort faces the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side and offers an unsurpassed view on Bora Bora island on the ocean side.
This traditional Polynesian style hotel is 5 minutes by private boat from main island of Taha'a and offers 48 Over Water Suites, 10 Beach Villas & 2 Royal Villas more than a hundred square meters each. Private patio & tropical gardens, private swimming pool (beach suites), spacious lounge and terrace, private deck with direct access to the lagoon (overwater bungalows), ceiling fan, air-conditioning, coffee/tea facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, safety box, television and IDD telephone. The public areas are built in the trees, providing an exquisite view on the lagoon and Taha'a Island.
Three restaurants: one adjacent the pool and beach (lunch), the other two in the heart of the resort among the trees. The main one for buffet and Polynesian show and the other for fine dining.
The resort offers diving activities and SPA, a fresh water swimming pool, floodlit tennis court and volleyball court. There are a wide variety of activities available including jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, snorkeling, helicopter tours and islands discovery excursions.
Regarding transfers, there are 2 different ways to get to the hotel. A 35 mn boat transfer from the Airport on Raiatea or a 15 mn helicopter transfer enables the clientele to flight directly from Bora Bora Airport to the hotel's helipad.
