L'Andana, former residence of Leopold II, Duke of Tuscany, has become a refined hotel, spread out at the foot of hills bearing centuries-old olive groves and vineyards. The hotel is located on the 500-hectare estate of Tenuta La Badiola. Wine and olive oil are produced on-site and you can also enjoy traditional Tuscan cuisine, based on regional products as well as excellent seafood, designed and interpreted by Alain Ducasse with simplicity and authenticity.
The hotel consists of two edifices: the Villa and the Fattoria. The accommodations, refined and distinctively appointed, were decorated by a talented Italian architect named Ettore Mocchetti. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside. Most rooms and suite bathrooms feature a fireplace. The Villa and Fattoria have 20 Superior and De-Luxe guestrooms.
The main restaurant offers traditional Tuscan cuisine: demanding, yet simple and authentic. It relies on the purity and balance of the ingredients, and gives the ultimate refinement of subtle conjugations. L'Andana is equipped with a heated outdoor Jacuzzi pool in the Villa garden, and the main outdoor swimming pool is next to the Fattoria.
