Kristiania Lech in Austria is a perfect winter retreat from the urban rush, right in the middle of the Alps. Or, you can relax on the sun deck and simply enjoy the view.
Top tip: Ask for loft suite 36, which features an African theme, or loft suite 37, which is Chinese. The signature room is the Pink suite where, as you can imagine, most items are pink. Must-do A day’s skiing in neighboring St Anton. It’s on the same lift pass, but not connected by lift or piste. Downside Lech is not ideal for expert skiers looking for a challenge.
