Hotel Sans Souci is designed by the yoo Studio, the in-house design team from world renowned design company yoo founded by designer Philippe Starck and the visionary real estate developer John Hitchcox. Since 1999, they have been creating innovative hotel and living spaces with inspiring designs and extraordinary ambiences worldwide. In the Hotel Sans Souci Wien, yoo have transformed their vision of an urban living experience for the first time in an Austrian hotel. The charismatic yoo design language shapes the entire building, from the light-flooded lobby to all of the 63 individually arranged and spacious rooms and suites furnished in light colours.
Art and culture do not just dominate life within the walls of the hotel, but also the immediate surroundings: The Sans Souci Wien in Burggasse 2, 1070 Vienna, is located in the pulsating centre of museums, theatres and a lively restaurant and bar scene. The artistic and cultural district Spittelberg and the Museumsquartier are just a stone‘s throw away, the Mariahilferstraße, Vienna’s largest shopping mile, and the elegant luxury boutiques in the 1st district are within walking distance.
The Hotel Sans Souci Wien offers rooms and suites of various sizes, from the spacious Superior Room with 25 m² to the luxury Master Suite with 70 m². The light and stylish rooms are furnished with parquet floors, mirror-screens, premium-quality beds and design classics. The Master Suites additionally offer antiques, designer furniture, Vi-Spring beds and marble bathrooms with a circular bathtub with a diameter of 1,70 metres. Highlights include the interior design by yoo, golden wall-paintings as well as photographies by Hubertus von Hohenlohe (Superior and Luxury Room) and original works of art by Roy Lichtenstein (Junior and Master Suites). Some rooms even are handicapped-accessible.
The ample Sans Souci Service includes a rich breakfast buffet, use of the spa and fitness area including a pool, Wi-Fi internet, a pillow menu, special linen for allergy sufferers, a Concierge service, valet parking and much more.
The relaxed atmosphere can also be felt in the restaurant ”La Véranda”, in the Sans Souci bar, in the Le Salon and in the Spa Club including a luxurious sports pool with a length of 20 metres.
The cuisine served in the restaurant “La Véranda” is prepared with great attention to detail and special value is placed on biological, regional and seasonal produce. Chef Simone Jäger and her team create new authentic and creative à la carte dishes every day. Simply casual cuisine – and not just for hotel guests.
”Le Bar“ is devoted entirely to the pleasure of the senses – and which beverage embodies sensuousness and elegance more than champagne? Besides classic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, long drinks and cocktails, an exquisite selection of various champagne varieties is served. ”Le Bar” is also a retreat for smokers.
”Le Salon“ with a size of 60 m² is ideal for holding meetings, seminars, press conferences, small receptions and exclusive “private dinings”. The tall, light-flooded room creates a lot of atmosphere, and together with its air conditioning system and the latest technology provides the ideal location for various events.
The elegant Sans Souci Spa Club is a wellness oasis over 450 m² - a harmonious place of relaxation right in the middle of Vienna. The spa area is equipped with two treatment rooms, a fitness room (endurance training, weight training, kinesis), three saunas (including a ladies’ spa), a steam bath, a sun bed and a pool. Traditional and exotic treatments with products of the Austrian natural cosmetics line “Vinoble” are available.
The Sans Souci pool with a length of 20 metres is ideal for intensive swimming training. Crystal chandeliers by Viabizzuno above the pool create an enchanting, typical “Sans Souci“ atmosphere.
The exclusive Sans Souci Spa Club including treatments is not just reserved for hotel guests or residents. The enjoyment of day spa in the Sans Souci - including use of the pool – is open to all! Various memberships to use the facilities of the spa club over a longer period are also available.
