The story of the Hotel Sacher Wien began back in 1876 when Eduard Sacher, son of the creator of the Original Sacher-Torte, merged culture with hospitality. Hardly time passed and soon it was on everyone´s lips, world-wide known as a meeting place for big personalities in politics, arts, culture and society.
Guided by the loving hands of the Gürtler and Winkler family, the hotel preserves the unique and personal ambience with the old-world charm of the former Habsburg monarchy.
Throughout, the individual designs of our 152 rooms and suites, one can discover the luxurious ambience of the 19th century combined with contemporary state-of-the-art comfort.
