Our five-star hotel, which is an intrinsic part of the history of Evian and the famous Cachat spring, has, since it was built in 1905, been host to world leaders. Guests from all around the world have stayed at this prestige hotel, including Edward VII of England who, despite being unable to stay at the hotel, did give his name to the establishment.
Member of the prestigious family of the The Leading Hotels of the World, the Hôtel Royal was recently the scene of an historic project lasting several months that have restored it to the splendour it deserves. We entrusted this mission to interior designer François Champsaur and to head architect of historic monuments François Châtillon. Thanks both to them and the efforts of many craftspeople specialized in preserving History and heritage, we endeavored to refurbish the Hôtel Royal taking the utmost care to retain its identity.
