Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel Spa
First founded 1366, Hacienda Zorita was originally a former hospice house and home to the Dominican Order. Over a decade now their prime aim has always been to put all our time and effort to endow this magical place with its ancient glory. The endeavor paid off: Hacienda Zorita shines today as much as it did 700 years ago. CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS STAYED HERE AS A GUEST, he came to Hacienda Zorita demanding the funds needed to make his dream possible: sail his way to the Indians. The rest is history. His soul is still alive. Just like him, they find passion in making dreams come true.
History is undoubtedly the key ornamental motif in Hacienda Zorita’s unique 40 rooms and villas. Indoors, however, they depict a contemporary touch in what we came to call Classic Nouveau: a perfect blend between the classic and modern world masterfully kept within these walls.
Outstanding buildings full of hidden spots and private plunge pools make Hacienda Zorita everything you were longing for! The mystic waters of River Tormes, branch of the Duero, flow beneath the Main House. Within this unmatched building you can find our restaurant Zorita's Kitchen and its farm-to-table philosophy, whose fine dining and healthy products have granted it with the Kilómetro Cero award and the prestigious national gastronomic award Plato de Oro 2015; The Wine Bar; the Z Lounge, with its wine selection and a numerous collection of movies; and The Wine & Olive Spa, their most relaxing hideaway specialized in olive and wine-therapy. All of it made with extreme care to meet all your needs and make you come back for more.
