Dar Ahlam is a traditional Kasbah in the palm grove of Skoura (40kms of Ouarzazate, 250 kms of Marrakech), at the gateway to the Southern Moroccan desert. It is a truly unique location, where everything is designed to ensure that your dreams come true.
Dar Ahlam is classified "Relais & Chateaux" and is located in Skoura, Province of Ouarzazate, 35 kilometers (30 min) from the Ouarzazate International Airport and 200 kilometers (3 hr, 30 min) from Marrakech.
Capacity: The Kasbah has 9 junior suites, sleeping a maximum of 18 guests. In addition, there are 4 superior suites and one independent villa. So in total, a maximum capacity of 30 guests.
The Garden: The architect of French landscape, Louis Benech has designed 1.5 hectares of gardens surrounding the Kasbah. It is planted with date palms, olive trees, fig trees, aromatic herbs and a kitchen garden. It offers a various range of places where you can have lunch, dinner, or breakfast or where you can just rest in the shade.
The Kasbah: Dar Ahlam is a Moroccan Kasbah dated from the 19th Century which was completely renovated in 2002. Dining room, drawing room, Moroccan drawing room, different terraces. 9 suites (from 35-40 m each) with air-conditioning, fireplaces, spacious bathrooms. View on the Atlas Mountains. No televisions. Each one has been decorated individually with unusual antiques and silk drapes.

1st Floor:

The Blue Suite: Rest, relax, freshness double room with a fireplace - bathroom (bathtub/shower) - independent restrooms.
The Syrian Suite: Syrian style - double room with a fireplace - bathroom (bathtub/shower) - independent restrooms
2nd Floor:
The Saraoui suite: Like a tent in the Sahara - double room with fireplace - bathroom (bathtub/shower) independent restrooms.
The Samsara Suite: \Indian inspiration - double room with a fireplace - bathroom (bathtub/shower) - independent restrooms.
The Zouakee suite: Name of a special style of wood painting - double room with fireplace - bathroom (bathtub/shower) - independent restrooms. One independent suite in the garden with two terraces. View to the gardens and Kasbah.
The superior suites (4): each one has a surface of 70 square meters. They all have a garden or a terrace. Heating, air-conditioning, fireplace.
The Villa: it has a bedroom, bathroom, a living-room, a terrace with a fireplace, a private heated pool. Air-conditioning, CD player. It can accomodate a maximum of 4 guests.
The Swimming Pool: T-shaped - Heated

The menu: An extensive menu, combining traditional Moroccan specialties with the latest culinary innovations. Two talents brought together with Frederick Grasser Herme for savoury delights and with desserts dreamed up by the famous French patissier, Pierre Herme.
Activities: Visit of Skoura with a guide. Skoura is an authentic Moroccan village with traditional craftmen cooking with the chef.Wellness: Swimming pool, hamman, jacuzzi, massages Desert outings with a guide: walking in the Dades' Gorges, Valley of Almond trees, Valley of Draa.
