The Ipe Bar & Grill at Hotel das Cataratas offers a locally inspired menu with impressive views of the lush gardens.

If you’ve never been to Iguacu Falls you owe it to yourself to see these 275 cataracts that stretch for two miles with falls as high as 300 feet falling into the Parana River.  You can almost see the falls from your luxury room at Hotel das Cataratas but one morning get up at sunrise and have the concierge arrange a private tour including a boat trip on the river.  The combination of seeing hundreds of species of flora and fauna (think toucans and jaguars) in the early morning mist as they rise is not only a wonderful experience but one which is relatively easy to do for most.  After you’ve seen the falls and the jungle from this perspective Hotel das Cataratas can arrange a helicopter to provide another spectacular once-in-a-lifetime experience.
