This 77-roomed upcountry retreat is something very special. Rooms offer Lanna silks, tribal cottons and teak furnishings along with large bathtubs and local crafts. There are 19 suites and 58 deluxe rooms, all with balconies overlooking the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos and offering exquisite views of rolling mountains, bamboo forests and glimpses of elephants - a landscape rich in Thai Lanna heritage. Rooms all have two-person sharing terrazzo tubs that can be opened up via sliding doors onto the bedroom. Suites have separate walk-in showers as well.
