Atlanta's thriving neighorhoods and cultural diversity will reshape your perceptions of the South. The Georgia Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium. The statistics are impressive.  More than 100,000 fish are displayed in five galleries and 60 habitats, in a building that is more than 500,000 square feet.  One pool holds more than 6.2 million gallons of water.  Two whale sharks, the world's largest fish, can be seen through acrylic walls two feet thick.  What goes on behind the scenes is sometimes even more amazing, and can be seen in the behind the scenes tour, a must-see activity.  Most impressive is that this complex is almost completely the creation of Bernard Marcus, co-founder of The Home Depot, as a gift to the people of the city in which his company began.  Talk about giving back.
