Following a renovation that took a total of six months, the iconic Le Touessrok, Mauritius, will re-open its doors on 1 November 2015 as Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius, a five-star destination that sets new standards for service and quality levels in a location already known for luxury.

The resort features a combination of Eastern and Western elements that were designed to reflect Shangri-La's legendary Asian hospitality. Guests will enjoy the resort’s renowned traditions, new dining concepts and holistic wellness experiences.

Shangri-La’s Touessrok Resort & Spa is the perfect venue for Incentive, Wellness and Golf groups.

The resort is located on the white sands of Trou d’Eau Douce Bay and offers stunning views over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Just off of the resort’s pristine shore, there are two beautiful islands - Ilot Mangénie, which is exclusively for Shangri-La guests and provides the perfect Indian Ocean experience, and Ile aux Cerfs, which features a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course that was designed by the famous pro-golfer Bernhard Langer.

All non-motorized water sports equipment, such as kayaks, laser sailing equipment, dinghies, sailing boats, pedal boats, glass-bottom boats, snorkeling equipment and windsurfing equipment, are available to guests for free. Even waterskiing is offered for free. However, motorized water sports, such as big game fishing and scuba diving, are available for a fee.

The exclusive Spa offers 10 treatment rooms, decorated in special Shangri-La style. The Spa menu includes Chinese and Ayurvedic treatments.

Just off of the resort’s pristine coastline are two beautiful islands that are available for guests. Ilot Mangénie is exclusively for Shangri-La guests and provides the perfect Indian Ocean island escape. Ile aux Cerfs has a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course that was designed by Bernhard Langer. Green fees are complimentary for Shangri-La guests.

Virtuoso Rate Includes: 

• Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability
• Full Breakfast daily for two guests, per bedroom, breakfast served in the Hotel restaurant
• $100 USD equivalent Resort or Hotel credit to be utilized during stay (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not redeemed in full)
• Early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability
• Complimentary Wi-Fi
• When staying 5 nights or more in a Junior Suite Frangipani Ocean View or any higher room category, guests will enjoy a complimentary two course lunch on Ilot Mangenie private island - drinks excluded and valid once per stay for up to two adults
• Green Fees at two Championship Golf Courses (Anahita and Ile aux Cerfs Golf Clubs) are included in the Bed & Breakfast room rates. One round per person, per day, for a maximum of two (2) players, 12 years of age and over

Other conditions and charges will apply as follows:

• A compulsory transfer fee of EUR 12 per golfer for return transfers to both golf clubs is applicable (Hotel–Golf–Hotel). Transfer fees will be sold at EUR 15 per person to direct guests
• A minimum length of stay of 5 nights is applicable for complimentary Green Fees. For stays below 5 nights, a Green fee of EUR 100per adult is applicable. Green fees be sold at EUR 120 per golfer to direct guests
• Carts or club rental are not included in any golf clubs, a fee will apply for these rentals
• No show cancellation fee applies of 120 EUR per round per person applies. No cancellation fees apply if cancelled within 24 hours to tee off

Any Food and Beverage consumption or any other pro shop purchases by guests at the golf courses will be at an extra charge.

o Anahita Golf Club will ask guests to pay directly at the Golf Course by cash or credit card.
o At Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club, Food & Beverage extras (only) can be charged to the guests’ room.
