Situated 128 metres above ground level, the vibrant space showcases sweeping 360-degree views across St Paul’s Cathedral, The City of London, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and other famous landmarks. The restaurant presents a modern European menu with a hint of Asian flavours, created using the finest local market and regionally sourced produce. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is the perfect venue for any occasion. The lounge offers a distinctive menu of authentic Shangri-La Asian specialties, including Hainan Chicken Rice, Curry Laksa, Nasi Goreng and Char Koay Teow. Gong on level 52 derives its name from ‘dougong’, the interlocking wooden brackets commonly seen in traditional Chinese architecture and featured throughout the sky-high venue. The bar’s modern Asian design was inspired by the mythical aspect of cinnabar - a mineral istorically used to paint the ‘dragon red’ walls of Chinese Imperial Palaces. Featuring a cocktail bar, Champagne bar and a stunning infinity pool, the dramatic backdrop of London’s skyline makes GOˇNG the perfect destination for sunset cocktails and late night drinks.
The bar’s skilfully-created seasonal drinks are made using locally sourced spirits and exceptional Champagnes are available by the glass, from rare small grower varieties to the ultimate Grand Marques.
