Review Amenities Virtuoso From USD242 Users Blog

Located in the Upper Village near the Fairmont Chateau, contemporary Four Seasons is comprised of two buildings connected by a glass skywalk. Between the buildings are gardens and the pool area. Guests arrive in a grand circular drive and enter a timbered lobby with a pair of elegant, intimate seating areas.

The concierge desk is well-staffed and effective at providing guests with information and reservations for dinner, activities or anything else they may need. During peak seasons, there's even a "teen concierge" on hand to clue younger guests into the Whistler scene.

Meals in Fifty Two 80 Bistro & Bar focus on seafood, and the outdoor patio has a fireplace to take the chill off cool summer evenings. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and room service is offered round the clock. An adjoining bar is busy in the evening and serves apres ski hors d'oeuvres, including sushi.

A free-form heated pool and three whirlpools wind between the buildings. Guests also have access to the well-equipped fitness center and steam rooms, as well as complimentary yoga, aerobics and Pilate's classes. A full-service spa is open until late to tend weary skiers.

Accommodations are spread between the two buildings and are understated but elegant on a grand scale.  The smallest rooms are over 450 sq ft all rooms have comfortable seating, built-in work desks with ergonomic chairs, dual-line phones with voice mail, complimentary high-speed Internet access, gas fireplaces, luxurious beds with duvets and down pillows, refrigerators, TVs with DVD players, and coffeemakers. Baths are oversized as well with dual basins, whirlpool tubs, separate showers, lots of counter space, L'Occitane toiletries, and thick towels and robes.

Some two-bedroom suites have dens and living rooms that open onto balconies with private oversized hot tubs.

Outside rooms, particularly those on the upper floors, have views of the mountains, the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre or the Fairmont Chateau, while inside rooms overlook the garden courtyard. Wheelchair-accessible units are available.
